Meet Pamela Offner Burch - Professional Counseling

For more than 17 years Pam has been providing individual, family and group therapy. In addition to maintaining a private practice of more than 12 years, Pam is a Clinical Instructor in the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine-Department of Psychiatry providing supervision and teaching to Child Fellows, Graduate Level Social Work, School Psychology students and Clinical Psychology interns.

Pam is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Previously she provided case management, group and family therapy in both a state psychiatric hospital and a private psychiatric hospital, and facilitated group therapy for SAFEchild Inc. in Raleigh. During that same time period she worked with women in prison and transition out of prison along with their families. Pam has created and conducted workshops regarding mental health issues and implemented self awareness retreats for women. She maintains Professional affiliation with the National Association of Social Workers, the North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Pam continues to invest in the lives of others through clinical counseling, public speaking, leadership training, educational instruction and small groups to equip and empower others, and assist them in finding meaning and purpose in all dimensions of life.
